With James nagging Linda to cycle faster we got to Mrs D’s 15 minutes early to find her in the front garden setting up for us.

We got straight to work with Linda working out the front, kneeling on the stone patio (lucky she had her trusty knee pads) tidying up pot plants, tying back the lavender, weeding the block paving and having a general sweep up.

Meanwhile James was in the back garden doing battle with a rebellious Honeysuckle and moving on to lawn mowing, he had concerns about the blades getting caught on stones so switched to the strimmer which gave him a bit of trouble at first but he got it sorted and was soon making progress.

Mrs D. Clearly loves her garden but has had a lot of health problems preventing her from maintaining it so there is still a bit of work to do. We did suggest she could ask for another session but advised her that GG cannot provide a regular gardening service.

Linda forgot to take “after” photos but arrangements have been made with Mrs D to pick up Linda’s gloves at the weekend (which she also forgot 🙈) soafter photos may be added later…watch this space 😁
