Thanks to funding from Greater Manchester Green Spaces Fund, we have an exciting chance to create a wildlife masterpiece in the middle of Stockport. Working in partnership with the local Council, Avanti West Coast, and Arts for Recovery in the Community (ARC), we need your help to paint a 50 meter long mural, showcasing wildlife and iconic buildings of Stockport.

All materials will be provided, along with expert guidance from ARC. We will be coordinating the day to make sure everything runs smoothly, as well as providing light refreshments.

If you have any experience of painting, please consider booking on to the second week, as this is when your skills will be needed to add details.

Old clothes you don’t mind getting painty. Any food, drink, and medication you might need. Suncream if the weather is nice. All PPE will be provided.

Please note, this event is not suitable for under 18s due to the use of the paint provided.

Meeting point is at the west end of Thomson Street, by the entrance to the bridge (What3Words - Clues.fact.prove). Parking is available at Armoury Street car park.

Drinking water will be provided.

Sessions may be cancelled due to extreme weather/heavy rain - if so you will be notified the day before the event via email.
