Mission

Fly-ing visit

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

A late afternoon lull in the rain gave me just enough time for a GoodGym double. After a lovely litter-pick walk with Michelle, I headed off to do Mr G’s shopping. He’d had to rush back from an appointment and I needed to be off early for an event of my own, so time was short. Nevertheless it was great to chat to Mr G, back to his highly amusing self. He’d mischievously “borrowed” some toy insects from his neighbours and placed them on his doormat to welcome visitors.

The supermarket visit was quick despite a few things having been moved around on the shelves. Biggest worry was that Mr G’s eponymous yoghurts were nowhere to be seen, with the store assistant suggesting they are no longer stocked. Hopefully the alternative I chose with similar nutritional claims will be to his taste.
